Under the guidance of Head Chef Phil Wild The Bear Hotel at Hungerford’s restaurant has garnered 2 AA rosettes and specialises in creating menus based on using the very best fresh, seasonal and local produce prepared with a Modern European Flare!

The wine list is carefully chosen from the major wine growing regions of Europe, South America, South Africa and Australasia.

The Bear Hotel at Hungerford has a real choice of places to eat from fine dining in the restaurant, a courtyard for summer and warm days, informal bar dining, snug room, a riverside terrace and a private dining area for hire. All have been recently refurbished and now offer a splendid mix of the old and the new.

Phil has received numerous awards for his cooking abilities, including 2 AA Rosettes and with over twenty-one years experience, he has been Executive Head Chef at a number of highly acclaimed hotels and restaurants around the country.
