Nestled in the Wye Valley, Llangoed Hall has gained an enviable reputation as a truly unique wedding venue, rich in history and set in 17 acres of beautiful gardens and parkland. We count ourselves extremely lucky at Llangoed Hall to enjoy such a stunningly beautiful location. Views across the Black Mountains are breathtaking and create the most magnificent, naturally beautiful back-drop for wedding photographs.
A warm welcome awaits you and your guests with a relaxed country home atmosphere. Whether you are planning a lavish party for hundreds or an intimate wedding for close friends it is hard to imagine a more perfect place for your very special day.
We pride ourselves in never hosting more than one wedding a day thus ensuring our total dedication to you, your family and your friends. We offer you a bespoke service and guide you through every aspect of planning your special day to ensure that it is exactly what you always imagined it would be.
When you book your wedding with us, you will receive one of our wedding packs which holds a host of information including suppliers that we can recommend to you.
Exclusively Yours
You can take over the whole hotel exclusively which means that you have all 23 bedrooms at your disposal plus the gardens and grounds and 8 bedrooms the night before. The whole house is also exclusively yours from 2pm on the day of the wedding until midday the following day. For all marquee weddings you do have to take this package. The costs vary according to the time of year.
Ceremonies
Exchanging vows is a key part of the day.
The Morning Room and Garden Room are both licenced to hold civil ceremonies. The Morning Rooms seats 80 guests and the Garden Room will seat 40.
The ceremony will be conducted by a local Superintendent Registrar. Bookings have to be made directly with them. The contact is the Superintendent Registrar at the Brecknock Borough Council Office at Hay-on-Wye. A Wedding or Civil Partnership Ceremony at Llangoed Hall depends upon the Registrar and the Superintendent Registrar being present. They can be reached on 01497 821371 on Tuesdays between 2.00pm and 4.00pm, Thursdays between 11.00am and 1.00pm and Fridays between 10.00am and 1.00pm.
Alternatively, there is a selection of churches in the Wye Valley which are also suitable - ask us for details.

The Best British Wedding Venue
We are delighted to announce that we have been voted “The Best British Wedding Venue” by online Sky Wedding Television’s viewers.
The Best of British Wedding Venues was a brand new and exclusive series to Wedding TV in September and asked viewers to vote for their favourite wedding venue in the UK.
Drayson Kohli, General Manager of Llangoed Hall said “we are delighted to have been acknowledged in this way. Weddings are such a personal experience and to have received such an award is a tribute to the heritage of the property and the small team of people who work so hard to make each bride’s day so special”. |
