WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT?
We endeavour to make hotel rooms available from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am on the day of departure unless otherwise sanctioned at the General Managers’ discretion. The hotel reserves the right to apply a late check-out charge
Best Western Chilworth & New Place check in time is 3.00pm
CAN I CHECK IN EARLY OR CHECK OUT LATE?
Early or late check out isn’t always available. Please contact your Legacy hotel directly in advance and they will do their best. It’s normally not a problem, but we can’t guarantee.

DO YOU HAVE PARKING? IS IT FREE?
Car parking is free at most Legacy Hotels and Associate/Affiliate hotels for hotel guests. At some sites, there is limited availability and charges may apply. And at some sites use of public car parks are required. Some hotels require guests/hotel visitors to register their car registration details at reception on check-in to benefit from free parking during their stay. Please contact the hotel of your choice direct for more information.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
At all Legacy hotels, up to 2 children under the age of 15 years may be accommodated when sharing a room with 1 or 2 adults. Availability of suitable rooms are limited and may incur a supplement. Portable beds may be used in some rooms to accommodate your children which in are chargeable, please check with central reservations or hotel direct. All children’s meals, including breakfast, should be paid for directly at the hotel or resort upon check-out. The children’s policy may vary across Associate/ Affiliate hotels.
CAN WE GET AN EXTRA BED OR COT IN OUR ROOM?
Extra beds can be booked in advance at an additional charge. Not all room types can accommodate extra beds, so please be aware that you may need to upgrade to a larger room. Cots are supplied free of charge. Any cots or extra beds must be booked in advance of arrival.
DO YOU PROVIDE BABAYSITTING SERVICES?
We regret that we are unable to provide either a babysitting or baby listening service at any hotel. On occasion, we may be able to provide information for local, registered, babysitting services.
WHAT SPA FACILITIES DOES THE HOTEL HAVE?

WHICH ROOMS ARE ACCESSIBLE AND HOW CAN I BOOK THEM?
A number of Legacy Hotels and Associate/Affiliate hotels offer modified facilities for guests with impaired mobility. Whilst not having special facilities, other hotels may have mainly level access to public areas and accessible bathrooms. For further information on the facilities at the hotel where you intend to stay, please contact the hotel direct or our central reservations team on 08444 119 001.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T ARRIVE?
If you fail to arrive on the day of your booking, the full room price will be charged. Please check the terms and conditions of the package you have booked for details of our cancellation policy.
CAN I BRING MY PET?
Naturally all our hotels welcome guide dogs. Many of our guests like to bring their pets to stay them so some of our hotels now accept all dogs with a small charge. Whilst we aim to accommodate all pet lovers, some of our hotels are unable to accept animals for reasons which are specific to the hotel. The charge for your pet will be made direct to the hotel.

Dogs are welcome in designated guest rooms with their owners, but not in food service areas. This will include most of the hotel public areas including lounges and bistros. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are an exception to the above policy and are allowed access to food service areas.
Guests are asked not to leave dogs unattended in rooms at any time without first advising reception, leaving a contact number where they can be easily reached and a DND on the door. Owners must take full responsibility for their pet’s behaviour throughout the stay and will be charged for any damage caused by their pet during their stay.
While we accept dogs in some hotels, it is also vital that we take steps to protect any allergy sufferers who may also be staying with us. It is therefore important that any guest notifies us at the time of booking if they suffer from a pet allergy, so that we can allocate a room away from where a dog will be staying.
DO I NEED MY CONFIRMATION AT CHECK-IN?
You don’t need to provide your confirmation at check-in. However, you must be able to show photo identification and a valid credit or debit card used to make your booking if requested by a Legacy Hotel.
I HAVE A GIFT CARD, HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?
Gift cards cannot be used to purchase any pre-paid or advance purchase rates online. They can be spent in any Legacy hotel; in the bar, restaurant, spa, or against an overnight stay.
